"Saw an Ajisen Ramen ad on Instagram and decided to check it out. Customer Service: the lady who was there was very nice, she was doing all the work alone, servicing everyone and she nailed it. She gave us everything we asked for and she was polite and friendly. The Food: ALL the food arrived HOT and fresh,I couldn't believe it. I am not talking about just warm, but it was so hot and tasty that we had to wait to eat it. Since it was my boyfriend and I's first time,we wanted to try different items so that's why there's a lot of food mentioned. The spring rolls and enoki rolls were nice but out of the appetizers, the karaage bun and the curry fries were fantastic and our absolute favorites!. The bun was very fluffy and moist and the karaage chicken was seasoned well. The karaage rice curry was a good size, could even be shared among 2 or 3 people,as well as the beef ramen. I got the Tom Yum steak ramen and yet,it was too spicy for my taste but still very good. I must mention that there is an option for a less spicy ramen, less salty and less oily for those who want to change anything, I didn't see it until after I ordered it. The meat was sizzling when it was served to us and it was well cooked. They don't have too many drink options but the ramune was very nice, not too sweet nor too sparkly and it went well with our meal. The price: Honestly, for the amount of food we got I could see the high price we paid for. Some of the appetizers could be cheaper but overall,I can't complain too much. Conclusion:will I come back here?,definitely. Not really sure why the reviews before were so mixed but my boyfriend and I were very happy."

"Dropped by Ajisen Ramen in Newmarket, Toronto, for a casual lunch. The place has a clean vibe and service was pretty quick and friendly. The menu’s got a good mix of ramen options plus some side dishes and bubble teas. Tried the classic tonkotsu ramen — broth was creamy and flavourful. Noodles had a nice bite, and the pork was tender but a bit thin. The portion size was decent, enough to fill you up. Also had the takoyaki on the side, which was crispy on the outside and gooey inside—solid snack. Prices are reasonable, maybe slightly on the higher side for a casual bowl of ramen, but not unreasonable. Overall, a good spot if you’re craving a quick and tasty ramen fix in the area. Ajisen Ramen is a restaurant cha, launched first in Kumamoto, Japan, in 1968. The restaurant chain is now spread over more than 15 countries."

"Excellent ramen! Went in for dinner on a Sunday evening. The place was fairly busy. The ambience was inviting and the servers were attentive and prompt. We ordered a mix of ramen and some appetizers. Everything was fresh and delicious. Portions were good and the price was fair. Will definitely come back for more!!"

"So, plot twist — I was originally headed to Shelby Shawarma next door. But then I had that déjà vu moment: “Oh great, another shawarma spot where it’s probably run by everyone except Middle Easterners.” Nothing personal (I’m Persian, so technically I can say this without getting canceled, right?), but I kind of prefer my Indians serving me butter chicken, not shawarma, sushi, tacos, and probably filet mignon by next week. Shawarma should be left to the Middle Easterns, period. Anyway, I peeked into this tiny ramen joint — three tables, tighter than my jeans after a buffet — and saw actual Asians running it. Sold. I walked in like I’d discovered the culinary promised land. Ordered the Black Garlic Filet Mignon Ramen and a Chicken Teriyaki Rice dish, with a side of their “Volcanic” hot sauce. Teriyaki verdict? Saltier than my ex on Valentine’s Day. But maybe that’s just me since I don’t shovel table salt like it’s confetti. Generous on the rice, a respectable amount of chicken — but if you’re a protein junkie like me, order double unless you want to play “Where’s Waldo?” with your meat. BTW, that half of egg... is To Die For! It was Eggtastic! My wife had the ramen and was basically in flavor heaven. She said the beef was tender, like melt-in-your-mouth tender. Meanwhile, I’m just dumping their Volcanic hot sauce all over my dish like it’s ketchup. To be fair, it is spicy for the average Joe, but since I treat Ghost peppers as “mild salsa,” it was more like a light tingle. I ate it all anyway — flex achieved. Bill came to around $40. Honestly? Worth it. Especially when you’ve got one hardworking gal running the whole operation like Gordon Ramsay on Red Bull. Service was top notch — better than half the five-star restaurants where ten people forget to refill your water. Would I come back? Absolutely. Next time, I’m trying something else on the menu — and probably ordering enough chicken to open a small farm."

"A good surprise. I worry with ramen spots but this was really good. We got the seafood salad which was good. The pork gyoza was alright- recommend to get it deep fried instead of pan fried because they weren't as crispy as promised. We also got the chicken karaage which was DELICIOUS. For ramen ...the black garlic beef was the star! Highly recommend. Also got the shoyu sliced pork the pork itself was fantastic...but the broth was a little too light in flavor for me. Added some garlic and chili oil to help. Overall good spot! Would definitely come back for the chicken and the black garlic beef!"

"amazing experience we come here quite often and every time it’s a 10/10 rating not pictured are cold noodles, they often come in different flavours each season and every time it’s amazing. great unique dish that i personally don’t see often at ramen restaurants, but it always satisfies because it is just so good! here we got the classic pork katsu ramen with shoyu broth. the pork katsu was out of this world, such tender and meaty pork pieces and the fried coating had a great flavour. came with a nice dipping sauce. the shoyu broth was amazing and had such a deep flavour. amazing every time the other one was the pork shoyu tonkatsu ramen which you can never go wrong with. reliable choice and great dish! the corn salad was underwhelming but all it needs is just more salt in the dressing. the crab was in such a small portion but it was okay. the corn was lacking flavour but you can’t help that sometimes. it’s an okay dish and can easily be improved by seasoning it staff is super nice as well. clean restaurant"
